An uninsured driver hits a car that ends up in my front yard. Police gets there, and issue the driver
a citation and let this driver call a friend with insurance to come over to drive the uninsured car off.
Am I missing something? or is this the way it works in Minnesota?
California: My friend was involved in an accident with an uninsured motorist. The uninsured was at fault and stopped. My friend gathered some information (Name, address, drivers license, license plate, and phone number). However, the uninsured motorist isn’t answering her phone and is not reachable. Property damages incurred to my friend’s car amounts to a thousand dollars.
My question is: What should my friend have done in this situation in the future? Should she have called the police at the scene of the accident?
