Uninsured RX

After the hosptal treats someone who does not have insurance and the patient has been harassed to pay the bill and perhaps gone bankrupt, you do. Either to addital charges added on everyone’s bill or government subsidies.

In California it depends on how much one makes and what assets they have.
Say someone has nothing, It would then be covered by Medical ( similar to Medicaid)
Medical allows the state to pay for treatment of the otherwise uninsured and is funded by both state and federal tax dollars..

A simple answer is that the state pays and gets some funding from the federal govt.

The citizens across the U.S. put up around $30 BILLION every year to treat “the indigent’.
The money comes from local and state budgets, supporting local facilities.
Traditionally, locals have always tried to take care of their own.
I see no dead bodies cluttering the streets of my town.

Now, the DemoBuddies have figured out a way to cash in on the health care system, just like they did with “affordable housing”.

If it is a public hospital, the state and sometimes federal funds are used to reimburse the hospital. Sometimes the patient is asked to pay and work out a financial plan to get the hospital paid back. However, hospitals know you can’t get money out of someone who has none so many take it as a loss.

The tax payers, plain and simple!!!
